Bionevia was founded in 2007. Since its incorporation, the company has created a strong intellectual property position and commercialization strategy for each of its pipeline products.

BNV-222 is currently the company's most advanced program.

Licensed programs

BNV-222: BioNevia has signed an agreement in 2010 with a Russian company for the commercialization of BNV-222 in Russia and neighboring countries. The company expects final approval for commercialization in Russia by the end of 2011.

BNV-220: BioNevia has signed a global licensing agreement in 2010 for BNV-220 that is expected to bring significant revenue to the company based on future milestones and royalties.

This compound has the potential for multiple indications including cancer pain, post-operative pain, and epilepsy. Extensive clinical data support the clinical efficacy and safety of the compound.
